About the Company:Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical company committed to advancing science and delivering life-saving medicines. With a strong presence in Singapore, they are looking to expand their automation engineering team. Join an innovative and fast-paced environment focused on quality, compliance, and cutting-edge technology. This will be a 1-year contract role. Key Responsibilities:• Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation systems, ensuring all systems meet operational requirements and regulatory compliance. • Conduct and oversee the qualification of automated systems, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality standards, and safety protocols. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and deliver automation projects on time and within budget. Provide technical leadership during project execution, from design through to commissioning. • Diagnose and resolve issues related to automation systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining system reliability. • Ensure all automation documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and qualification protocols, are thoroughly created, maintained, and compliant with industry standards. • Identify opportunities for system optimization, process improvements, and automation upgrades. Support innovation in automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency. • Work closely with process engineers, IT teams, and other departments to ensure smooth integration of automation systems with other plant systems. Requirements:• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or other relevant degrees • More than 10 years of experience in automation engineering, specifically in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. • Experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing CAPEX projects in Singapore • More than 10 years working experience with DeltaV Batch systems including system design, coding, and troubleshooting. • In-depth knowledge of automation system design and qualification processes (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ).
