Azure Cloud Engineer

·      Job Description ·      We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.  ·      The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, automation, DevOps practices, and security compliance, with a proactive approach to optimizing performance and cost.  Key Responsibilities  ·      Cloud Infrastructure Management Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases Implement and maintain  ·      Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure SQL Database  ·      Monitor cloud environments and optimize for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability ·       Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies Automation & DevOps Build and manage  ·      Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools  ·      Automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python Support and enhance continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices  ·      Security & Compliance Implement Azure security best practices including identity and access management (Azure AD, RBAC)  ·      Configure and manage network security (NSGs, firewalls, VPNs)  ·      Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats Manage encryption, Key Vaults, and secrets lifecycle  ·      Collaboration & Support Collaborate with development teams to design cloud-native architectures  ·      Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members  ·      Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues  ·      Maintain documentation for architectures, processes, and procedures Participate in on-call support and incident response rotation  Required Qualifications  ·      Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services (compute, storage, networking, databases)  ·      Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, or equivalent)  ·      Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Terraform, Bicep)  ·      Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)  ·      Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)  ·      Solid understanding of cloud networking (VNets, subnets, load balancers, VPN, ExpressRoute)  ·      Experience implementing Azure security best practices (Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault)  ·      Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights  Preferred Qualifications ·       Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent) ·       Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments ·       Knowledge of cost optimization and FinOps practices  ·      Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare)
