We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Insurance domain and hands-on experience working in Agile environments. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering and analyzing requirements, defining solutions, and ensuring successful delivery of insurance-related projects and products. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. • Conduct requirement elicitation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process analysis sessions. • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Analyze existing insurance processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. • Support Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. • Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs. • Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, use cases, and data mapping documents. • Facilitate communication between business users, development teams, QA teams, and external vendors. • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and obtaining stakeholder sign-off. • Identify project risks, dependencies, and gaps, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies. • Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Insurance domain • Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements. • Certifications such as: CBAP, CCBA, or ECBA , Agile/Scrum Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, etc.) • Experience with digital transformation, system integration, or insurance platform implementations. • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and SDLC. • Experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining product backlogs. • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, and business analysis techniques. • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in cross-functional teams.
