About this role
Duration: Minimum 3 Months (Full-Time Commitment Required) About the Role: We are looking for a Business Process Intern to support operations and supply chain improvement projects. You will help map workflows, document SOPs, identify manual tasks, and suggest ways to simplify or automate work processes. This role is suitable for students interested in operations, logistics, business analysis, or process improvement. Note: This program serves as a pipeline for future talent needs. Top-performing interns may be considered for future full-time contract or permanent positions based on business requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Process Mapping & Standardization: Use MS Visio to visually map operational workflows; identify identical or repetitive tasks across different business units to support consolidation and harmonization efforts. • ERP & Automation Scoping: Review how daily operational teams utilize enterprise software and identify clear gaps where manual work can be eliminated or automated through better ERP configurations or automation software. • Workflow Optimization: Evaluate end-to-end business activities to find bottlenecks, streamline handovers, and design simplified future-state workflows. • Implementation Support: Help coordinate the transition of operational activities into a shared services framework, drafting clear step-by-step documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Technical & Academic Requirements: • Education: Current student or recent graduate from Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business (Operations Track), or a related operational discipline. • Operational Insight: Strong foundational understanding of supply chain and logistics workflows (e.g., warehousing, procurement, distribution, order fulfillment). Prior hands-on experience working in logistics operations or a warehouse environment is a significant advantage. • Systems Literacy: Foundational understanding of ERP concepts, enterprise workflows, or core business application structures • Practical Tools: High proficiency in MS Visio (or identical workflow diagramming tools) to map processes clearly and professionally Professional & Soft Skills: • Process-Oriented Mindset: Ability to break down a busy operational department's daily routine into clear, logical steps. • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interview operational staff, understand their pain points, and document their tasks accurately. • Adaptability: Comfortable handling shifting project requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment.
