CCTV Network Engineer | Up to $4500 | Jurong East #5252

Working Location: Jurong East Salary: $3500 - $4500 Job Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, configure, integrate, and maintain CCTV and security systems over IP networks, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, cybersecurity, and seamless integration with broader ICT infrastructure • Manage network and security infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and video management systems (VMS), while monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing firmware upgrades, patch management, and system hardening • Support the implementation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of surveillance, access control, command-and-control, and security monitoring systems for government, defence, and critical infrastructure projects • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including network topology diagrams, asset inventories, installation records, maintenance reports, and compliance-related documentation, while providing training and technical guidance to clients and internal stakeholders • Ensure compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity requirements, and government regulations, including ONVIF, NSI, MOI-SSD, IM8, and project-specific security policies, while supporting audits, security assessments, incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance activities • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, milestone achievement, and effective on-site and remote technical support throughout the project lifecycle Job Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in network engineering, CCTV, or security system integration • Strong knowledge of IP networking, LAN/WAN infrastructure, routing, switching, network troubleshooting, and cybersecurity concepts including firewalls, VPNs, and system hardening • Hands-on experience with CCTV systems, Video Management Systems (VMS), IP cameras, NVRs, and security surveillance technologies, including familiarity with ONVIF standards and integration protocols • Experience in supporting integrated security management systems, command-and-control platforms, or similar mission-critical security solutions • Familiarity with government or defence-related projects (HDX/DSTA), including knowledge of IM8 standards, Cybersecurity Act requirements, and public sector ICT security policies If you are interested, please submit your application here.
