About this role
Key Responsibilities • Provide Level 2 operational support for Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, Amazon Linux, Ubuntu) • Perform OS-level troubleshooting, service restarts, performance checks, and log analysis • Support Windows services (AD, DNS, GPO, WSUS) and Linux services (systemd, cron, filesystem, package management) • Handle incidents, problems, and service requests via ITSM tools • Support AWS services including EC2, EBS, S3, Systems Manager (Run Command, Patch Manager, Session Manager), and CloudWatch • Assist with instance provisioning, validation, start/stop, resizing, snapshots, and recovery activities • Support UAT and production readiness and BAU handover • Manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, and security groups • Support ingress/egress connectivity and Network Load Balancer (NLB) integrations • Troubleshoot network and firewall-related issues with network teams • Validate connectivity paths for Windows and Linux servers • Perform post-implementation testing from OS perspective • Support CIS hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance checks • Assist with IAM role usage and least-privilege access at instance level • Support endpoint protection and monitoring tools (EDR/XDR) • Participate in audits and evidence collection • Perform OS patching using WSUS/SCCM/SSM (Windows) and yum/apt/SSM (Linux) • Support automation using PowerShell, Bash, and AWS CLI • Participate in maintenance windows and on-call rotations • Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles • Support operational handover from project build to steady-state support Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of hands-on Windows and/or Linux support experience • 2+ years of AWS operational experience • Experience in enterprise or regulated environments • Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022) • Linux administration (RHEL / Amazon Linux / Ubuntu) • AWS services: EC2, EBS, S3, IAM (operational usage), Systems Manager, CloudWatch • Understanding of VPC fundamentals, security groups, routing basics • Awareness of Load Balancer (NLB) integrations • Scripting: PowerShell (Windows) and Bash/Shell (Linux) Preferred Skills & Certifications • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate • Microsoft Windows Server / Hybrid Administrator certification • Linux certification (RHCSA or equivalent) If you are keen, please email your updated resume to daisylyn.jocson@tg-hr.com EA License no.14C7275/Registration no.
