Cloud System Developer

About the role: We are looking for a Cloud System Developer with a strong interest in automation, scalability, and infrastructure performance, and experience with tools such as Terraform and GitLab. This role involves addressing complex infrastructure challenges and building reliable platforms that support critical services and enable continuous improvement. Working Hours: Mon-Fri, Office hours Salary package: $9500 (basic) + AWS Benefits: Annual Leave, Birthday Leave, Medical Benefits Job type: Contract Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain a scalable cloud platform used by multiple organizations. • Build APIs and backend automation using NodeJS or Python, and support secure CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Terraform, GitLab). • Implement cloud automation and manage infrastructure across multiple cloud providers. • Support system reliability, scalability, and operational stability. • Provide guidance on DevOps practices and contribute to overall engineering best practices. Requirements: • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum 3 years of experiences in backend/API development with NodeJS or Python • Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform), Git, and scripting (e.g. Bash) • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines • Hands-on experience with Agile development and deployment practices • Familiar with AWS, Azure or GCP • Exposure to distributed systems, security practices, and monitoring tools is a plus By submitting your resume, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information per ScienTec’s Privacy Policy (scientecconsulting.com/privacy-policy).
