Functional Tester

Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements. • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure system stability. • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders within an Agile/SCRUM environment. • Identify, log, and track defects using standard tools, ensuring timely resolution. • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Ensure adherence to software testing standards and best practices. • Support test documentation and maintain test artefacts. Required Skills: • 5–7 years of experience in software testing / QA roles. • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. • Hands-on experience in manual testing, including Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing. • Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments. • Familiarity with defect tracking and collaboration tools such as: JIRA, Confluence. • Experience in Telecommunication or Broadband domain.
