About this role
Job Summary We are looking for candidates with cybersecurity governance and policy experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements Mandatory Skill-set • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Infocomm Security; • 3+ years in cybersecurity, IT governance, audit, or security consulting; • Knowledge of IM8, NIST, and ISO 27001/27002; • Experience in policy governance and risk assessment; • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices; • Exposure to cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or DevSecOps; • Familiarity with network, application, or IoT security; • CISSP and/or CISA certification preferred; • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Desired Skill-set • Experience in cybersecurity policy development, governance, risk assessment, compliance, and security frameworks such as IM8, NIST, and ISO 27001/27002. Responsibilities • Develop and review ICT security policies, standards, and guidelines; • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective cybersecurity governance and compliance; • Assess policy queries, risk exemptions, and recommend appropriate security controls; • Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks with operational teams; • Monitor and report on agencies' security posture and key risk indicators; • Support security assessments, audits, and cybersecurity projects; • Address cybersecurity challenges across emerging technologies and digital environments.
