Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Strategist to join our Cybersecurity Group team. You will play a key role in shaping and driving the organisation’s cybersecurity strategy, leading policy development, overseeing strategic planning and execution, strengthening governance frameworks, and monitoring cybersecurity performance to ensure alignment with business objectives. Mandatory Skill-set • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; • Proven experience leading, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams; • Strong understanding of cybersecurity strategies, governance, policies, and risk management; • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to simplify complex concepts into actionable insights; • Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, technologies, tools, and solutions; • Ability to think strategically, develop creative solutions, and make sound, data-driven decisions; • Strong logical reasoning and critical thinking skills; • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Desired Skill-set • CISSP and/or CISA certification; • Familiarity with statistical methods and econometrics; • Finance, accounting or legal qualifications or experience would be an advantage. Responsibilities • Lead and drive cybersecurity strategy, policy development, and governance initiatives across the organization; • Identify emerging cyber threats, risks, and opportunities, translating insights into practical and actionable strategies; • Manage and deliver strategic cybersecurity programs, ensuring alignment with business and organizational goals; • Develop resource plans, funding proposals, and investment cases to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities; • Monitor performance, track key outcomes, and drive continuous improvement across cybersecurity initiatives; • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide strategic guidance and influence cybersecurity decision-making; • Represent the organization in cross-functional, industry, and government engagements; • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
