The Company Our client in the manufacturing industry is currently seeking a Financial / Costing Analyst to join their dynamic team. The Role This role serves as a key finance business partner to sourcing, procurement, and manufacturing stakeholders, providing in-depth financial analysis and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include analyzing material cost trends, purchase price variances, manufacturing cost drivers, supplier spend patterns, and performance against budget and forecast, while identifying key risks, opportunities, and root causes of variances. The position plays an active role in forecasting, cost management, and savings governance by evaluating cost reduction initiatives, supplier pricing changes, and financial impacts of business scenarios. Your Profile The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification such as ACCA, with 7 to 10 years of progressive finance experience, including strong exposure to supply chain, procurement, or operations finance. Candidates should possess advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with hands-on experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred), BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and large-scale data analysis. A strong understanding of manufacturing and operations finance, including inventory management, labor costs, and variance analysis, is essential. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced, technology-driven environments, while demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.
