Functional Business Analyst (JD#11025)

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Business Analyst with expertise in the Data and Finance domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for data-centric and financial systems. Mandatory Skill-set • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field; • Must have work experience in Corporate banking/Financial market domain; • Must have 15+ years of experience in implementing full end to end projects for finance applications such as SAP ERP, Enterprise Budget, Financial Consolidation; • Must have proficiency in data management and financial systems; • Experience in handling large sets of financial data, detailed data analysis and data profiling; • Knowledgeable in accounting standards and regulatory requirements; • Exceptional quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills, with the ability to translate analysis into practical solutions that align with business objectives; • Able to facilitate and drive workshop discussions with business and technology teams; • Strong communication skills, prepare high quality and concise presentation slides to senior management; • Strong stakeholders engagement skills, self driven and proactive; • Adaptive to different area in the data and finance space, open to learning new Gen AI technology. Desired Skill-set • Certification such as PMI-PBA, CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) and others; Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Management • Collaborate with Business Unit Specialists to elicit, review, and validate business requirements  • Perform impact assessments and analyze the "to-be" business and operational processes based on agreed requirements • Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business objectives • Monitor and manage risks / issues related to requirements and scope creep • Perform impact assessments and estimations for project change requests  Functional Design & Solution Alignment • Transition requirements to System Analysts, ensuring clarity and completeness. • Maintain traceability of functional specification to business requirements  Testing • Review test plan and functional test scope prepared by testing team • Support SIT and UAT, including defect prioritization, tracking and resolution Should you be interested in this career opportunity, please send in your updated resume to apply@sciente.com at the earliest.
