About this role
Main Duties and Responsibilities:Strategic Partnerships & Collaborations• Oversee the governance (clinical and administrative, where applicable) of all strategic partnerships, collaborations, and contractual arrangements. • Act as the organisation's primary liaison for strategic partners, ensuring effective engagement, communication, and relationship management. • Provide strategic advice and guidance to internal business units on partnership structures, operating models, risk management (operational, financial, and business), pricing frameworks, and contract scoping. • Facilitate discussions with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend viable partnership or collaboration models. • Support negotiations with partners, ensuring the organisation's interests are appropriately protected and reflected in agreements. • Facilitate the resolution of issues or conflicts arising between internal and external stakeholders. • Track, monitor, and report on the progress, performance, and outcomes of partnership projects and collaborations. • Conduct regular reviews with partners to gather feedback, assess partnership effectiveness, and identify opportunities for improvement or new areas of collaboration. • Ensure timely renewal of partnership and collaboration agreements, with proper documentation, record-keeping, and governance controls. • Lead and implement initiatives to improve partnership processes, governance, and operational effectiveness. • Provide regular updates to Senior Management on key partnership initiatives, risks, and outcomes. • Manage and coordinate steering committee meetings involving senior management and relevant stakeholders. • Provide end-to-end secretariat support, including agenda development, collating meeting and presentation materials, accurate minute-taking, maintenance of official records, and follow-up on decisions and action items to ensure timely closure. International Collaborations• Serve as the organisation's liaison officer for existing and potential overseas partners, facilitating discussions and identifying mutually beneficial collaboration opportunities. • Work closely with department heads and internal stakeholders to strategise, scope, structure, and manage international collaborations in alignment with organisational priorities. • Lead and coordinate engagement and negotiations with overseas partners, and work with Legal on the development, review, and management of collaboration agreements. • Plan and coordinate inbound visits by overseas delegations, including programme design, itinerary planning, and internal stakeholder coordination. • Facilitate and coordinate outbound overseas visits to partner institutions, including liaison with partners, internal approvals, logistics planning, and execution. • Monitor progress, manage issues and risks, and provide regular updates to Senior Management on international collaboration outcomes. • Support and accompany senior delegations on overseas visits when required to advance partnership discussions and institutional relationships. Special Projects• Act as the Project Manager to lead and facilitate projects involving operational improvement, service enhancement, or quality initiatives. • Develop organisation-wide workflows and operational processes to support project objectives. • Lead and facilitate project meetings and discussions. • Manage conflicts and obstacles to ensure projects remain on track. • Monitor and ensure adherence to project milestones and deadlines. • Provide management with periodic updates on project status. General / Other Duties• Review and implement improvements in work processes. • Ensure departmental operational procedures and work instructions are reviewed periodically and updated in a timely manner. • Provide secretariat support for division and department meetings, including preparing meeting minutes and following up on action items. • Participate in emergency planning exercises and render support during organisational emergencies or incidents when required. • Assist with any other duties as assigned. Job RequirementsEducation, Training and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in any discipline. Qualifications in healthcare management, business administration, public administration, or related fields will be advantageous.
