About this role
THE ROLE The intern will work with lawyers and all layers of support staff including managers and secretaries to assist with all aspects of HR department, including: • Renewal of Legal Certifications: Administer the application, renewal and termination of Lawyer Registration through Legal Services Regulatory Authority • Statutory Claims: Work closely with the HR Advisor to submit government statutory claims via various government portals • Work Visa Processing: Process all visas and employment permits in a timely manner and ensure the firm consistently works within its legal requirements • Data Management: Update and create employee profiles on Workday. Ensure that the personnel files are updated onto the firm’s cloud storage system • Interview Scheduling: Liaising with hiring team and candidates on interview timings • Preparation of Collaterals: Preparing collaterals for career fairs or HR-related events • Ad-hoc: Any other HR-related projects as assigned by the HR department ATTRIBUTES • Excellent personal communication skills and strong organizational abilities • Excellent command of written and verbal English • Meticulous and attention to details • Ability to perform under pressure • Consistent positive work attitude • Flexible approach in order to handle fluctuating work volumes and priorities • Proven discretion and trust in dealing with confidential and sensitive information • Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to learn new HR systems such as Workday EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES POLICY It is the policy of Hogan Lovells to provide equal opportunities for all employees in relation to recruitment, training and promotion.
