Infrastructure & Network Engineer - Contract

ROLE SUMMARY The Infrastructure / Network Developer will be responsible for setting up and configuring new servers required for Dynamics 365 CE, web applications, APIs, and batch processing components. This role is critical to ensuring a stable, secure, and performance-ready environment ahead of the application and data migration phases. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Install and configure new servers for: ◦ Dynamics 365 CE v9.1 ◦ Web APIs and Web Applications ◦ SSIS and Batch Jobs • Support installation and configuration of: ◦ IIS (Internet Information Services) ◦ SQL Server 2022 ◦ .NET Framework 4.7.1 / 4.8 • Ensure environment readiness for application and data migration. • Support network, firewall, and connectivity configurations. • Assist with deployment, Go Live preparation, and cutover activities. . Provide infrastructure support during HyperCare. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • 5–8 years of experience in Windows Server & Infrastructure support. • Strong hands-on experience with: ◦ Windows Server (on-premises environments) ◦ IIS configuration and management ◦ SQL Server installation and configuration ◦ .NET runtime setup and troubleshooting • Proven experience supporting application migrations to new server environments. . Solid understanding of security, access controls, and enterprise environments.
