Your academic background demonstrates a solid foundation in finance or economics—ideally complemented by progress toward professional qualifications such as the CFA. You possess advanced technical skills in Excel (and potentially VBA), which enable you to manage large datasets efficiently while extracting meaningful insights. • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related field is preferable; progress towards or completion of CFA designation is highly regarded for this position. • A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio or fund research or a similar role within the financial services industry is essential. • Advanced Excel skills are required for data analysis; familiarity with VBA or equivalent programming languages would be advantageous for automating processes. • Demonstrated ability to synthesise large volumes of complex data into actionable insights that inform investment decisions is critical for success. • Exceptional writing skills are needed to produce clear and persuasive research reports as well as effective client communications. • Outstanding verbal communication abilities enable you to present findings confidently to both internal stakeholders and external clients or partners. • A detail-oriented mindset ensures accuracy when handling sensitive financial information or preparing materials for client review. • Intellectual curiosity drives your commitment to staying informed about market trends and best practices within fund-of-funds investing. • A collaborative approach allows you to work effectively within a team environment while contributing positively to group discussions and shared objectives.
