Legal & Compliance Executive (Contracts Review)

Location: Central Singapore Industry: Energy / Oil & Gas About the Role We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Executive to support contract review and compliance-related matters within a leading energy trading company. This role is suitable for candidates with a legal background who are interested in commercial contract review, compliance processes, and regulatory matters. Fresh graduates or junior candidates with relevant internship or working experience are welcome to apply. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel to support contract review and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities• Review commercial contracts and agreements before escalation to external legal counsel • Support contract drafting, amendment, and documentation processes • Assist in monitoring compliance-related matters and internal control processes • Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and documentation • Support internal investigations and compliance reviews when required • Prepare compliance reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders • Liaise with business teams to ensure proper documentation and contract governance • Assist with audit requests and regulatory documentation support • Support ad-hoc legal, compliance, and operational projects as assigned Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related discipline • Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply • Prior exposure to contract review, legal documentation, or compliance support is advantageous • Good understanding of commercial contracts and legal terminology • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel) • Good communication and stakeholder management skills • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment What’s In It For You• AWS (13th month) and performance bonus • Opportunity to gain exposure in the energy and commodities industry • Hands-on experience in commercial contracts and compliance matters • Regional and cross-border exposure within an international business environment
