Linux Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Linux Platform Engineer, and high-availability solutions. The candidate will be responsible for managing secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure within a banking environment. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and support enterprise Linux platforms (RHEL, Oracle Linux). • Perform system hardening, security compliance, and periodic patching aligned with banking standards. • Manage high-availability and clustering solutions using Veritas InfoScale. PowerHA • Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform, Shell scripting, or similar tools. • Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and perform tuning. • Provide L3 support, incident management, and root cause analysis. • Maintain detailed documentation and operational runbooks. • Knowledge of AIX will be an added advantage. • Support weekend maintenance windows when required. Required Technical Skills: • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Linux platform engineering. • Strong expertise in Linux OS administration (RHEL, Oracle Linux). • Solid working knowledge of Veritas InfoScale for HA configurations. • Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, Bash/Shell scripting. • Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Podman) and Kubernetes fundamentals. • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in banking environments. • Knowledge of ITIL processes To apply,simply click the "Apply" button or send your updated profile to recruit@percept-solutions.com  EA Licence No.:18S9405 / EA Reg.
