Locum Clinical Optometrist (4 months) #HKN Location: Central Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am –5.30pm (6 hours a day, total 30 hours per week) Locum Fee: Up to $25/hr Job Description: • Provide both pre and post-operative optometric care to laser vision correction patients and general eye examinations • Perform objective and subjective refraction and prescribe optical correction and contact lens fitting • Conduct basic binocular vision assessments, such as cover test and ocular motility test • Perform preliminary examinations, such as colour vision and pupillary assessment • Educate patients on vision status, proper vision care, and usage of various optical aids • Assist in the dispensing of soft & RGP lenses, troubleshoot and educate patients on their contact lens problems and perform some orthoptic assessments • Explain eye examination results to patients, offer advice and reassurance on vision-related matters • Teach first time contact lens wearer the proper way of handling contact lenses • Manage the inventory of contact lenses, trial lenses and contact lens solutions • Ensure equipment and measuring tools are in good working condition • Ensure smooth operations of clinics • Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the supervisor Job Requirements: • Minimum Degree/Diploma in Optometry with 2 years of relevant experience • Fully registered with Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) • Clinical experience will be advantageous • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills • Able to work proactively and independently • Willing to float to other clinics when required Interested applicants, please send your resume in Word document to kylie@recruitexpress.com.sg  (cc clinicalhealth@recruitexpress.com.sg) Kylie Ng Kai Wi (R1104775) #HKN Recruit Express Pte Ltd EA Licence No: 99C4599 Company Reg.
