We are hiring Locum Endoscopy Staff Nurse to be outsourced to our clients from reputable healthcare organizations. Apply now! Job Responsibilities • Pre-Procedural Care: Assess patient readiness, verify fasting status, review medical histories, and manage patient anxiety by providing physical and emotional support. • Intra-Procedural Assistance: Assist endoscopists during gastrointestinal exams (e.g., gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP), administer and monitor moderate sedation, and manage specialized endoscopic equipment. • Post-Procedural Care: Monitor patient recovery, assess vital signs, observe for potential sedation side-effects or complications, and provide discharge instructions. • Equipment Management: Process and maintain delicate endoscopes according to strict infection control standards. This involves safe handling of high-level disinfectants and reprocessing chemicals. • Safety & Radiation Protection: Adhere to acute care safety protocols, which involves wearing lead aprons during fluoroscopy/radiation-guided procedures.
