Risk Identification & Assessment • Develop and implement an Operational Risk Management (ORM) framework and methodologies • Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across events and daily operations • Conduct risk assessments focusing on public safety, security, and operational vulnerabilities • Analyze risks using data and industry best practices to determine likelihood and impact • Develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for senior management reporting Risk Mitigation • Design and implement risk mitigation strategies for events and operational activities • Continuously review and improve risk controls to ensure effectiveness • Integrate risk management into event planning and operational workflows • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure safe and compliant execution of activities Emergency Response & Crisis Management • Develop, maintain, and update emergency response and crisis management plans • Ensure staff are trained and prepared for incident response • Conduct drills, simulations, and post-incident reviews to strengthen readiness • Refine response plans based on outcomes and operational feedback Compliance & Safety Governance • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies as required • Promote a strong safety culture across all operations • Align practices with recognized industry safety frameworks and best practices Skills & Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in operational risk management, preferably in events or large-scale venues • Strong understanding of health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards in Singapore • Familiar with recognized safety frameworks (e.g. Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds or equivalent standards) Key Competencies • Strong leadership with ability to build teams from the ground up • Hands-on and operationally inclined, willing to be involved in execution when required • Strategic thinker with ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments • Independent, proactive, and solution-driven mindset • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to influence and drive a strong safety culture across teams Yee Jie Ling Jaslin (R1440114) Business Edge Personnel Services Pte Ltd (96C4864)
