Mapping Specialist - Contract - up to SGD5.5k

We’re hiring a High Precision Mapping Specialist to convert large-scale sensor data into ultra-accurate maps using AI-driven pipelines.   Key Responsibilities:• Acquire geospatial data through proprietary software and internal tools. • Transform raw spatial datasets using AI-powered mapping pipelines. • Develop precise map features such as road networks, lane configurations, building outlines, and points of interest. • Conduct reviews of AI-generated outputs, ensuring accuracy and reliability. • Detect inconsistencies and perform manual corrections to maintain data integrity. • Work extensively with large-scale datasets, including imagery and LiDAR. • Drive improvements in automated map generation workflows by contributing feedback and enhancements. • Partner with engineering teams to refine and streamline production processes. • Guarantee that all mapping deliverables meet stringent accuracy benchmarks for Singapore. • Perform ongoing monitoring, analysis, and grading of geospatial data through regular validation cycles. • Oversee daily operations of the mapping team, ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of high-quality outputs to clients. • Carry out routine quality assurance checks where required. • Uphold confidentiality standards when handling, storing, and sharing sensitive data. • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring mapping tasks are executed with precision and efficiency. Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Geography, or a closely related discipline. • At least 2 years of professional experience in geospatial data processing, analysis, or automation within a dynamic environment. • Strong proficiency with productivity tools such as Google Docs and Google Sheets. • Genuine enthusiasm for maps, paired with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated ability in project management, effective cross-department communication, and stakeholder coordination. • Exceptional attention to detail, with a metrics-driven mindset and a clear understanding of how mapping precision influences product performance and customer experience.
