Position OverviewWe are seeking a commercially minded Media Strategy & Communications Specialist to drive the Company's brand visibility, market positioning, and communication strategies. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance on media, advertising, content development, and communication initiatives that support business growth and strengthen the Company's market presence. This role requires an individual who understands both marketing and sales environments and can translate business objectives into impactful communication strategies, campaigns, and customer engagement activities. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with the Company's brand strategy and commercial objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesMedia, Advertising & Brand Strategy• Provide expertise in marketing disciplines including media strategy, advertising, digital marketing, agency management, content development, and event management. • Develop and execute media, communication, and advertising strategies aligned with business objectives and brand positioning. • Recommend suitable media channels, communication platforms, and promotional initiatives to maximise market visibility. • Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all communication channels. • Support customer acquisition and business growth initiatives through strategic marketing activities. Marketing Campaigns & Content Development• Plan, execute, monitor, and manage marketing activities, campaigns, and budgets within the assigned areas of responsibility. • Develop content strategies and communication materials to enhance brand awareness and audience engagement. • Research industry trends, competitor activities, and media coverage to identify opportunities and improve market positioning. • Prepare briefing materials, presentation decks, agendas, and research reports to support business initiatives. Commercial & Stakeholder Support• Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to align marketing initiatives with commercial goals. • Act as the key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors, agencies, and media partners. • Build strong working relationships with third-party service providers to ensure successful execution of marketing activities. • Support the sharing and implementation of marketing best practices across business units and teams. Reporting & Continuous Improvement• Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations. • Monitor emerging media trends and identify opportunities for innovation. • Support management with market intelligence and strategic recommendations. Skills & QualificationsMandatory Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, Advertising, or a related discipline. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in media strategy, advertising, brand positioning, digital marketing, or marketing communications. • Experience supporting sales, business development, or customer acquisition initiatives. • Strong understanding of media planning, content strategy, and brand management. • Experience managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Required Skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong commercial acumen with a customer-focused mindset. • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Strong analytical, research, and presentation skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders. • Strong organisational and project management skills.
