Mobile App Ratings & Feedback Analyst – Job Description Job Summary A Mobile App Ratings & Feedback Analyst monitors and analyses user ratings and feedback from app stores and other sources to identify issues, track satisfaction trends, and provide actionable insights that drive app quality and user experience improvements. Responsibilities • Monitor user ratings and written feedback from Apple App Store, Google Play Store, in-app surveys, customer support systems, and user comments to gather comprehensive user insights • Analyse collected feedback to identify recurring issues such as bugs, crashes, slow performance, login problems, or confusing features • Report identified patterns and critical issues to product, development, or technical teams to prioritise fixes and enhancements • Track app rating trends over time to evaluate the impact of updates, new features, and bug fixes on user satisfaction • Prepare clear and concise reports summarising key findings including top user complaints, requested features, rating trends, and overall user sentiment for management decision-making • Use spreadsheets and basic analytical tools to organise and analyse feedback data efficiently • Apply strong attention to detail to detect subtle feedback patterns that indicate larger technical or design problems • Communicate findings effectively in simple, actionable language to support cross-functional collaboration and app improvement initiatives Preferred competencies and qualifications • Basic knowledge of mobile applications and user interaction principles • Ability to work independently in remote or office environments while maintaining organisation and analytical focus
