Position OverviewWe are looking for a highly motivated MTO Sales Manager to drive partnerships and business growth within the remittance and cross-border payment sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring and managing Money Transfer Operators (MTOs), payment partners, and financial institutions to expand Lightnet’s payment network and transaction volumes. Key Responsibilities• Identify, acquire, and manage partnerships with MTOs, remittance companies, payment aggregators, and financial institutions. • Drive business development initiatives to increase transaction volume and revenue growth. • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners across regional markets. • Present Lightnet’s cross-border payment solutions and value proposition to prospective clients. • Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teams to onboard partners efficiently. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within the payments and remittance industry. • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and partnership terms. • Support partners with integration coordination and ongoing account management. • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs. • Represent the company at fintech, payments, and remittance industry events. Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field. • 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within fintech, remittance, payments, banking, or financial services. • Strong understanding of cross-border payments, remittance flows, and payment infrastructure. • Existing network within MTOs, remittance providers, or financial institutions is an advantage. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Ability to manage multiple partnerships and work in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with compliance, AML/KYC, and payment regulations is preferred. • Proficiency in English; additional regional languages are a plus. Preferred Qualifications• Experience working with SWIFT, digital wallets, payment gateways, or blockchain-based payment systems. • Knowledge of Southeast Asian remittance corridors and payment ecosystems. • Proven track record in achieving sales and partnership targets.
