About this role
Job Scope• Assess, develop, plan and implement speech therapy interventions to students with speech, language, communication difficulties in accordance with programme approach, framework and SOPs. • Be part of the collaborative team to work with students on a one- to-one basis, group or special setting based on programme requirements. • Provide speech therapy consultation, support and update on the students’ progress and status to caregivers. • Refer students to respective school team for consultation and further treatment or training as and when necessary. • Share speech therapy-related knowledge and best practices when required. Requirements• A Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology / Speech and Language Therapy or a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. For Singapore-based practice, degrees must be recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC). • Registration/Licensure: Mandatory full registration or eligibility to practice with the AHPC. • Ability to conduct comprehensive formal and informal clinical assessments. • Skill in designing, executing, and modifying individualised therapy plans • Documenting student progress, updating case notes independently and conducting case history taking. • General Practice: Entry-level roles, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience • Able to reassure and build trusting, safe relationships with students. Contract duration: From 1 Aug 2026 to 31st Jul 2027,or adjust accordingly to the actual start date following the issuance of the LOA (Option to extend for a period of 1 year) Working Arrangement • Minimum 10 hrs per week, maximum 20 hrs per week • Note: Working hours may be adjusted based on the school's requirements. However, the total number of working hours per day/week will remain unchanged.
