Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Our client, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading organizations is looking for: Project Manager (Infrastructure) Responsibilities: • Manage infrastructure needs in relation to the implementation of new ICT systems and the ongoing management of existing ones across on-premises, GCC, and GCC+ environments. • Facilitate project activities to ensure smooth system rollout and operations. • Oversee the change management process for system deployment and operations. • Manage and coordinate with multiple vendors and suppliers, including tracking deliverable timelines, identifying delays, and escalating issues where necessary. • Manage infrastructure development and maintenance issues in collaboration with internal users and external suppliers. • Manage user expectations, maintain good rapport with stakeholders, and understand their requirements. • Manage project budgets, including planning, tracking, and reporting on expenditure to ensure projects are delivered within approved financial parameters. • Support contract management activities, including managing vendor contracts and procurement costs, and monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels. • Provide regular status updates on infrastructure development and maintenance activities. • Coordinate and oversee infrastructure security testing activities, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation follow-ups. • Ensure security testing findings are tracked, prioritised, and resolved in a timely manner in collaboration with relevant teams and vendors. • Support compliance with IM8 and government ICT security requirements across on-premises, GCC, and GCC+ environments and other audit requirements. • Take on ad hoc tasks that are reasonable and relevant to the nature of the role. Requirements: • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant ICT discipline. • Minimum 5 years of working experience in ICT infrastructure services, covering areas such as datacentre operations, disaster recovery, server and storage management, network infrastructure, and desktop infrastructure. • Hands-on experience managing or supporting infrastructure in on-premises, GCC (Government Commercial Cloud), and GCC+ environments. • Demonstrated project management experience in a multi-vendor environment. • Familiarity with infrastructure security testing processes, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and security remediation management. • Understanding of IM8 and other security frameworks and standards relevant to infrastructure, such as ISO 27001 and NIST. • Experience in budget planning, tracking, and reporting for technology projects, including managing vendor contracts and procurement costs. • Experience working with ICT audit processes, including supporting audit reviews and implementing corrective actions. • Strong stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and documentation skills • Strong analytical, conceptualisation, and problem-solving skills. • Results-oriented and customer-focused. • Good team player with strong organisational and people management skills. • Good spoken and written English. • Experience in implementing and leading small to medium-scale ICT infrastructure projects across on-premises and government cloud environments. • Prior experience working in the public sector or government agencies, with familiarity of GCC and GCC+ infrastructure requirements and IM8 compliance standards. • Experience coordinating or managing infrastructure security testing exercises in a government or regulated environment. • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly within the Government Cloud context. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Interested applicants can also email CV at jagveer@nsearchglobal.com (for faster processing, please state the exact job / position title applied “Project Manager (Infrastructure)" Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EA License Number: 10C3636 EA Personnel Name: Jagveer Singh Arora  EA Personnel Registration Number: R22109615 By submitting your resume and cover letter to apply for our job opening, you confirm that you have read the Data Protection Notice for Job Applicants (https://www.nsearchglobal.com/dp-notice/job-applicants) and you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for the purpose of verifying and evaluating your job application.
