• 2 year contract role • Working Location: Tuas The Project Manager leads the retrofit of boilers at TSIP project by developing execution plans, directing project members, and ensuring alignment with schedule and cost objectives. The role is responsible for monitoring progress, analyzing impacts from site reports, and implementing corrective actions when deviations occur. The Project Manager reports project status, risks, and cost performance to the Division Manager. The position also manages client communication, including progress updates and future concerns, and handles contractual deviations by negotiating schedule extensions or additional costs to protect project delivery and financial performance. Job responsibilities • Develop overall project plan; define scope, schedule, and resources; lead project team to ensure execution in line with plan • Review reports from site and team; assess impact on schedule and cost; implement corrective actions • Job requirements • Identify risks and issues; evaluate impact; define and implement mitigation measures • Report progress, cost status, and issues to Division Manager; explain deviations and root causes • Provide project updates and highlight future concerns; maintain strong client relationship • Identify deviations from contract; prepare and submit claims for schedule extension or additional cost • Provide clear updates on project progress, cost performance, risks, and any deviations from the plan, including root cause analysis and proposed corrective actions. • Facilitates decision-making by integrating inputs from the site and ensuring that all stakeholders have accurate and consistent information. • Negotiating contract deviations, such as schedule extensions and additional costs, with clear justification • Provides oversight and direction as needed to ensure alignment with project objectives, contractual requirements, and overall project performance. Job requirements • Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering Science • At least 10 years of Waste-to-Energy (WtE) project management experience • Project Manager experience of Waste-to-Energy (WtE) boiler retrofit project in Singapore • Strong understanding of Waste-to-Energy (WtE) technologies, with the ability to analyze existing plant conditions and engage in constructive, technical discussions with the client. • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management. • Ability to interpret site information and assess its impact on overall project performance, including schedule and cost implications. • Proficiency in preparing clear, structured, and accurate reports (e.g., progress, cost, risk) for both internal management and client communication. • Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage stakeholders and address contractual or technical issues.
