ST ENGINEERING MISSION SOFTWARE & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is hiring for a Project Manager internship — a 12-month, on-site Government Policy role based in ANG MO KIO ELECTRONICS PARK ROAD, Singapore. It is an unpaid internship. It is open to university students, typically in Year 2–4. Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact The Project Manager is responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of complex projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within scope, budget,and quality standards. The role involves leading cross functional teams,managing stakeholders, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance withgovernance, safety, and security requirements. Familiarity with both Waterfalland Agile methodologies is required to support adaptive and effective projectdelivery. Be Part of Our Success Project Leadership & Delivery • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. • Ensure project deliverables meet agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations. • Oversee day to day project operations and coordinate activities across multiple functional teams. • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, and delivery roadmaps, applying Agile principles where appropriate. Stakeholder Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, vendors, and partners. • Provide regular and accurate project status updates to senior management and key stakeholders. • Facilitate project reviews, working committee meetings, and governance forums as required. Risk & Issue Management • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation and escalation strategies. • Resolve project challenges proactively through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Team Leadership & Collaboration • Lead and mentor cross functional project teams to drive accountability, collaboration, and performance. • Plan and manage resource allocation and task prioritization to meet project objectives. • Promote continuous improvement and delivery excellence within the project team. Cost & Budget Control • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost planning, tracking, andforecasting. • Monitor expenditures against approved budgets and implement corrective actions where required. • Enforce cost control and change management processes to prevent scope creep and cost overruns. • Prepare financial status reports covering budget utilisation, forecasts, and financial risks. • Coordinate with finance, procurement, and vendors to ensure contract compliance and effective cost management. Monitoring & Control Track and report progress across key project areas, including: • System definition and requirements baseline • Hardware and software development • Integration, testing and deployment • Safety and security engineering • Change management and compliance Compliance, Quality, Safety & Security • Ensure project delivery complies with applicable regulations, security standards, safety requirements, and organisational policies. • Oversee quality assurance activities to ensure deliverables meet agreed standards and acceptance criteria.
