Role Summary The Project Specialist – Digital Technology is a DT team member responsible for the end-to-end data and reporting pipeline that supports inventory planning and other DT-driven analytics. The role sits in the DT organization and focuses on extracting data from source systems, transforming it into reliable datasets, and loading it into Spotfire and other tools for stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities DT Data Extraction and Integration • Execute and maintain DT data extraction jobs • Collaborate with application owners and DT teams to secure access, troubleshoot interfaces, and ensure stable, repeatable data feeds. • Monitor DT data pipelines and proactively resolve issues impacting data availability or timeliness. ETL / ELT and Data Quality (DT Ownership) • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows within DT to clean, map, merge, filter, and aggregate data into analytics-ready datasets. • Apply DT data standards for naming, formatting, and structuring data, ensuring consistency across systems and reports. • Perform data quality checks (completeness, accuracy, consistency) and work with DT and business stakeholders to resolve data issues. Spotfire and Reporting Solutions • Own the DT side of the Inventory Planning Tool, including all upstream data processes and connections that feed Spotfire dashboards. • Optimize DT reporting solutions for performance, usability, and maintainability, including refresh schedules and access controls. Documentation, Governance, and Continuous Improvement • Document DT data flows and logic, including data dictionaries, ETL specifications, and process diagrams. • Ensure compliance with DT security and data governance policies, working with DT security and architecture teams as needed. • Continuously improve DT data processes, identifying automation opportunities, standardizing recurring tasks, and adopting relevant DT tools and practices. • Stay current with DT toolsets and platforms, participating in DT-driven training and knowledge sharing.
