We are seeking a Research Fellow to be in charge of an experimental apparatus aiming to develop a quantum processor based on Neutral Atom Arrays. The role will focus on developing the experiment, data acquisition and analysis, and supervision of undergraduate and PhD students. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop optical systems to support advanced ultracold experimental research. • Develop and implement optical interfaces for quantum processor applications. • Prepare and present regular progress updates to the Principal Investigator. • Provide guidance and supervision to a small research team, supporting their development and project delivery. Job Requirements • PhD in Experimental Physics, with a specialization in Quantum Physics, Optics, or a closely related field • Proven knowledge, experience, or exposure to areas such as cold atom systems, laser systems, vacuum systems, or photonics. • Strong capabilities in experimental design, data acquisition, and data analysis. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research environment. • Experience in supervising or mentoring students or junior researchers would be advantageous.
