Closing Date : 11 May(12noon) Location : Irrawaddy Road Position : Psychologist (Resilience Psychology Group) – 1pax Contract period : 1 year Working hours: • Monday to Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm • Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm • Saturday: Off • Lunch break: 1 hour Job Description of Psychologist (Resilience Psychology Group) The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays an important role in maintaining safety and security in Singapore through crime prevention, deterrence, and operational readiness. The Police Psychological Services Department (PPSD) supports SPF through psychological expertise and services. The Psychologist (Resilience Psychology Group; RPG) is part of the Operational Resilience Psychology Division (ORPD) within PPSD. The role focuses on psychological care, developing programmes to enhance officer well-being, and ensuring personnel are psychologically ready for duty. The Psychologist will also contribute to other core functions within PPSD. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and implement systems and processes to strengthen organisational support for personnel well-being • Develop, review, and deliver resilience and well-being training for personnel at all levels • Provide direct support and intervention for personnel experiencing psychological challenges or following exposure to critical incidents • Offer professional consultation to personnel, units, and the organisation on psychology and behavioural science matters • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders • Conduct applied research in resilience and well-being • Support other core functions of the Police Psychological Services Department (PPSD), including operational requirements REQUIREMENTS • Degree in Psychology or above.
