About this role
The Graduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) Programme is an initiative by Workforce Singapore (WSG) that offers fresh graduates with traineeship opportunities for a period of 6 months across various sectors. The programme aims to support fresh graduates, with no prior working experience, from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions), amid uncertainties in the economy. It supports structured traineeships for trainees to gain hands-on industry-relevant experience and skills, preparing them for successful transition into full-time employment. All trainees must fulfil the following criteria: • Graduated in 2024, 2025 or 2026 from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE), or other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024, 2025 or 2026 • Applicants must have no prior working experience and must be prepared to commit to a full-time traineeship MAIN PURPOSE The Marketing Trainee is responsible for supporting and assisting the team in the Operational marketing activities of 5 luxury fragrance brands for distributors and Asia Pacific (APAC) markets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing • To coordinate the collection of data and analyses performances in APAC. • To prepare reports and information gathered from the markets to consolidate to HQ. • To disseminate marketing guidelines and information to markets • To coordinate with local markets on marketing calendar and animation plans • To undertake daily marketing & administration tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing department Business Development • Assist on communication with distributors to obtain necessary information for the launches and results • Assist on compiling business performances on monthly report with SAPAC and distributors. Visual Merchandising • Define visual merchandising plan per POS (Light box , planograms…) • To validate visual adaptation and update on visual focus. • Visual Merchandising material planning and stock management Events • To assist brand team in the coordination of events in the region • Organize production material related to the events (invitations, gifts, catalogs etc..) and ensure availability and timely delivery • Create post event reports to share with HQ and team REQUIREMENTS • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent • Possess good communication and written skills and time management skills • Good at Microsoft powerpoint and also excel • Good team player and able to work in a fast paced environment • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines • Self-motivated, fast learner and able to work independently
