The Graduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) Programme is an initiative by Workforce Singapore (WSG) that offers fresh graduates with traineeship opportunities for a period of 6 months across various sectors. The programme aims to support fresh graduates, with no prior working experience, from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions), amid uncertainties in the economy. It supports structured traineeships for trainees to gain hands-on industry-relevant experience and skills, preparing them for successful transition into full-time employment. All trainees must fulfil the following criteria: • Graduated in 2024, 2025 or 2026 from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE), or other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024, 2025 or 2026 • Applicants must have no prior working experience and must be prepared to commit to a full-time traineeship ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a creative, proactive, and purpose-driven trainee to join our Talent & Organisation Development (T&OD) team. This traineeship offers hands-on experience in designing and delivering impactful initiatives that shape employee engagement, learning experiences, and organisational culture. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Support the planning and execution of T&OD initiatives and corporate events. • Assist in designing and developing T&OD collaterals, presentation decks, and digital content. • Develop and create targeted content such as communication videos and visual assets for employee engagement activities, corporate events (e.g., Townhalls), and employer branding. • Contribute to organisational development projects aimed at improving workplace culture, and employee engagement. • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas to support the implementation of T&OD initiatives. • Help analyse data and feedback to generate insights and improve initiatives’ effectiveness. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support change management and communication efforts related to T&OD programs. REQUIREMENTS • Graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Business, or a related field. • Strong interest in learning, talent development, and organisational culture. • Excellent communication, storytelling, and visual design skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with creative tools like Canva, Mentimeter, or video editing software is a plus. • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities. • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple tasks.
