We are seeking a Research Assistant to contribute to a project focused on quantum simulation using ultracold gases and the successful candidate will be working on a tweezer network based on superoscillatory phenomenon. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct research activities related to experimental quantum technology • Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of experimental ultracold atom systems • Support data collection, analysis, and documentation of research findings • Perform laboratory testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of scientific equipment • Assist in simulation, modelling, and experimental optimization activities • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and research documentation • Support research team coordination and collaborative scientific activities • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and research protocols • Report daily on the progress of the project Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Quantum Science, Photonics, or a related discipline from a recognized university or institution • The candidate should have knowledge or research experience in atomic physics, quantum optics, laser systems, ultracold atoms, or related research areas. • Familiarity with experimental laboratory equipment, optics alignment, vacuum systems, electronics, or data acquisition systems will be advantageous. • The candidate must be highly motivated in research and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • The candidate should possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a research team. • Good written and verbal communication skills are required for research reporting and scientific discussions.
