The School of Social Sciences at NTU is an interdisciplinary research and teaching hub covering psychology, economics, sociology, and public policy. It focuses on rigorous, high-impact research that informs policy and practice in Singapore and beyond. The School fosters collaboration across academia, government, and industry, supported by strong research infrastructure and a vibrant scholarly community. It is committed to developing future researchers through mentorship, training, and active involvement in research projects. The Research Associate will support the implementation of research projects under the supervision of the Principal Investigator(s). The role involves coordinating participant recruitment and data collection across multiple settings (e.g. preschools, hospitals, and laboratories), while ensuring smooth day-to-day research operations. Key Responsibilities: • Managing and executing studies, supervising and training research assistants and students, and supporting project timelines and administration. • Handle data management (including cleaning, coding, and analysis), ensure compliance with ethical and institutional requirements, and contribute to grant reporting. • Supporting research dissemination efforts, such as preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and assisting with conference presentations. Job Requirements: • Degree in psychology or a related social science field (Master’s preferred) • Experience in research with human participants, especially children or families • Strong organisational, data management, and project coordination skills • Ability to supervise and work collaboratively with students and research staff • Good written and verbal communication skills • Willingness to work flexibly across different settings and schedules We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
