About the role Join a leading national research agency and play a key role in managing the full lifecycle of competitive research grant schemes. You will work at the intersection of research policy, stakeholder engagement, and programme administration — ensuring grant calls run smoothly and awarded projects are properly monitored from pre-award through to completion. What we offer: • Salary: $3K to S$4.2K/month (based on skills set and experience) • Location: West • Working model: Hybrid (3 days in office per week) • Contract duration: 7 months • Working hours: Office Hours (Mon - Fri) What you will do • Provide secretariat support for research grant schemes, including coordinating grant calls, convening evaluation panels, and managing logistics end-to-end • Execute policies and processes governing the administration of grant schemes in compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements • Communicate grant scheme policies and guidelines clearly to public sector research performers and other stakeholders • Serve as the primary liaison for grantees on pre-award and post-award matters, including queries, documentation and compliance • Ensure timely and accurate submission of progress reports for assessment by internal and external reviewers • Monitor cashflow and budget utilisation for awarded projects, flagging risks and variances for management attention • Support continuous improvement of grant administration workflows and documentation What we are looking for • Minimum diploma or degree in any discipline; candidates with background in public administration, business or science-related fields are welcome to apply • At least 2–3 years of experience in grants administration, programme management or policy administration, preferably from a grantor's perspective • Meticulous, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines with strong time management discipline • Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement across research institutions and government agencies • Experience working in a public sector or research agency environment is an advantage Skills required: • Policy Administration and Compliance • Grant and Programme Administration • Stakeholder Management and Engagement • Budget Monitoring and Financial Tracking • Project and Programme Management • Research Administration • Process Documentation and Improvement • Written and Verbal Communication • Data Management and Reporting • Regulatory Compliance How to apply Submit your application through MyCareersFuture.
