Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly committed Shop Manager to take full responsibility for the daily operations of a busy retail kiosk. This rewarding role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to handle multiple challenges. Commission based salary structure. Responsibilities • Lead and execute all opening and closing procedures, including accurate cash reconciliation and daily financial reporting to ensure operational integrity • Manage store operations efficiently during peak periods such as weekends, public holidays, and promotional events to maintain service excellence • Develop and maintain staff schedules and attendance records, proactively covering shifts on reasonable short notice to address manpower gaps • Resolve customer complaints and escalations professionally, including those occurring outside regular operating hours, to uphold customer satisfaction • Conduct regular stock counts, monitor inventory shrinkage. • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and maintenance vendors independently to ensure timely deliveries and store upkeep. • Maintain high store standards by overseeing merchandising layouts, housekeeping, and compliance with headquarters’ guidelines • Achieve weekly operational KPIs, including sales targets, inventory accuracy, and audit results, to drive store performance • Participate actively in headquarters meetings and training sessions, adapting quickly to same-day notices and new directives • Remain on standby for urgent operational matters throughout the week, demonstrating readiness to address issues promptly • Perform frontline roles such as cashier, stocker, and customer service when required to support store operations and team effectiveness Required competencies and certifications • Minimum 2 years of retail supervisory or management experience • Strong leadership, dependable and trustworthy • Willingness and physical ability to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays (where necessary) • High level of responsibility and accountability for overall store performance • Remain reachable during operational hours for urgent matters • Open to learning about the retail industry to stay relevant
