About this role
Job ScopeFirst responding • Responds to call for help from teachers to remove student and bring the student to pull-out location • Provides triaging and basic counselling for students who flare up • Contact parents to provide first updates • Provides input to School/Student Committee (SC), Special Educational Needs Officers (SENO), Discipline Master (DM), Student Development Team (SDT) for follow-up Befriending/mentoring: • Befriend and mentor students at risk of re-offending Other duties: • Manages student engagement activity hub • Supports after-school programmes / learning journeys for high-needs pupils • Attends CMT meetings to be familiar with identified SwANs Requirements• Bachelor of Arts / Science in Psychology / Counselling • At least 2 years of experience working with children ages between 6 to 12 Contract Period: 1 July 2026 to 30 November 2026 (Option to extend for 10 months) Working Arrangement • Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays Location: Yishun Salary: $3,400 to $3,700 per month EA License No.: 96C4864 Reg.
