What you'll do: As a Senior Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Central Finance by delivering precise financial reporting that meets both local statutory requirements and corporate standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing balance sheets and profit & loss statements, translating complex regulatory requirements into practical systems, liaising with external auditors and authorities such as IRAS and ACRA, coordinating closing processes within the GBS framework, ensuring tax compliance, monitoring cash flow, preparing for audits, collaborating across teams, driving cost efficiency initiatives, strengthening internal controls, and participating in process improvement projects. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, strong interpersonal abilities for building relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the organisation, as well as a commitment to upholding compliance at every stage of financial operations. • Take accountability for balance sheet and profit & loss statement management by ensuring all accounting and reporting activities adhere strictly to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), local statutory requirements, and corporate accounting standards for FS1 and FS2. • Translate Singapore regulatory requirements into effective systems and processes that ensure statutory governance across all finance operations. • Serve as the lead contact for external auditors and local regulatory authorities including IRAS, ACRA, and other statutory bodies, ensuring clear communication and efficient audit processes. • Coordinate timely, efficient, and accurate closing processes in alignment with the GBS framework while executing and monitoring internal controls (CoSeA) to maintain high standards of compliance. • Ensure full compliance with Singapore tax regulations, GST requirements, and statutory filing obligations through diligent monitoring and reporting. • Support cash flow monitoring activities by providing accurate statutory reporting and preparing for audits in accordance with Singapore compliance standards. • Collaborate closely with the Head of Central Finance and the wider Central Finance organisation to deliver reliable financial information that supports business decision-making. • Contribute to maintaining cost efficiency throughout finance operations by identifying opportunities for optimisation without compromising on compliance or accuracy. • Assist in developing robust internal control frameworks that safeguard assets and ensure transparency in financial transactions. • Participate actively in cross-functional projects aimed at improving finance processes or implementing new regulatory requirements.
