Senior Fire Protection Engineer

Mon to Sat / 8am - 6pm At least 25years experiences in Construction Job Description • Lead design and integration of fire protection systems with ACMV and M&E services • Prepare hydraulic calculations, technical drawings, and system schematics • Ensure designs comply with Singapore standards (SS CP 52, SS 575, SS 553, NFPA, FM Global) • Coordinate fire protection systems with electrical, plumbing, and structural disciplines • Ensure compliance with SCDF, Fire Safety Act, and BCA regulations • Prepare and submit fire safety plans and authority documentation • Liaise with QPs, RIs, and SCDF officers for approvals and inspections • Oversee fire protection projects from design to completion • Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements • Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines • Conduct risk assessments and resolve technical/site issues • Lead testing, inspection, and commissioning of fire protection systems • Coordinate integration with ACMV systems (e.g., smoke control, pressurisation) • Ensure proper documentation and handover for Fire Safety Certificate (FSC) • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and training Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, or related field • 5–8 years of relevant experience in fire protection within M&E/construction industry in Singapore • Strong knowledge of fire codes (SCDF, BCA, NFPA, FM Global) • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and hydraulic calculation tools • Experience in ACMV smoke control and fire system integration • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
