About this role
The Senior Manager, Operations Excellence, will support and drive the deployment of Operations Excellence capabilities across Southeast Asia, working closely with country operations leaders, solution design teams, and functional stakeholders. The role focuses on standardisation, continuous improvement, operations engineering, and digital enablement, ensuring that global and regional standards are effectively implemented and sustained at site level. Acting as a regional subject-matter expert and change agent, the incumbent will influence site and country teams to improve productivity, service quality, and operational robustness across the SEA Contract Logistics network. Key Accountabilities • Drive deployment of Operations Excellence initiatives across SEA Contract Logistics sites, covering operational standardisation, process improvement, operations engineering, and select automation initiatives. • Support consistent application of Global Site Assessment (GSA) and QEHS standards across new implementations and business-as-usual operations; work with country and site teams to address gaps and sustain compliance. • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including value stream redesign, productivity enhancement, cost-to-serve improvement, and waste elimination across warehouse operations. • Partner operations and solution design teams on layout optimisation, material flow, storage strategies, picking methods, manpower and equipment productivity improvements. • Leverage data from WMS, TMS, WCS, MHE systems and customer ERP to improve operational visibility, planning accuracy, and execution performance. • Support standardisation of core operational KPIs, ensure accurate performance reporting into global/regional platforms, and provide insights for SEA performance reviews. • Develop and adapt Lean and Operations Excellence training materials, coaching site and country teams to strengthen problem-solving and continuous improvement capability. Qualifications, Skills and Experience • Bachelor's or Master’s degree(s) in Logistics Management, Engineering, Shipping, Business Administration or equivalent disciplines. • Minimum 8-12 years of extensive experience in Operations, Process Engineering, Operations Excellence, Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance. • Strong exposure to multi-site or multi-country logistics operations, preferably in Contract Logistics or 3PL environments • Demonstrated ability to work across functions and influence without direct authority. • Experience supporting, rather than owning, regional or cluster-wide initiatives is an advantage. • Flexibility to travel between 30% - 40% across SEA to support operational reviews, improvement initiatives, and key implementations.
