Sitecore AI Engineer

Job Description ·       We are seeking a highly skilled Sitecore XM Cloud / Sitecore AI Engineer with strong expertise in OrderCloud to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade digital experience platforms.  ·       The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, headless digital solutions by integrating Sitecore XM Cloud with modern frontend technologies and Sitecore OrderCloud for sophisticated B2B/B2C commerce capabilities.  ·       This role requires deep technical expertise in Sitecore headless architecture, modern React/Next.js development, cloud-native deployments, performance optimization, and commerce workflow implementation.  Key Responsibilities  ·       Headless Development Design, develop, and enhance modern digital experiences using Next.js (v14/15+) integrated with Sitecore XM Cloud.  ·       Implement headless architecture using Sitecore JSS, GraphQL, and TypeScript.  ·       Build scalable frontend applications leveraging reusable patterns and component-driven architecture.  ·       Component Engineering Develop reusable, maintainable, and enterprise-grade UI components and templates.  ·       Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, accessibility, security, and branding standards.  ·       Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences. ·        Commerce & OrderCloud Development Implement advanced commerce functionality using Sitecore OrderCloud.  ·       Develop custom pricing engines, inventory management logic, promotions, and transactional workflows.  ·       Integrate OrderCloud APIs with external enterprise systems and payment platforms.  ·       Performance Optimization Implement modern rendering strategies including: Static Site Generation (SSG) Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) Server Components and edge rendering concepts  ·       Optimize applications to achieve high Google PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals benchmarks.  ·       Write highly optimized, scalable, and maintainable production-ready code.  ·       DevOps & Cloud Deployment Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Vercel. Deploy and manage frontend applications on Vercel and cloud-native environments. ·        Implement logging, monitoring, observability, and proactive alerting mechanisms.  ·       Mentorship & Engineering Excellence Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, security best practices, and development governance. ·        Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across teams. ·        Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.  ·       Sitecore Ecosystem Integration Work with broader Sitecore ecosystem products including: Sitecore CDP Sitecore Personalize Sitecore Search Sitecore Content Hub Sitecore Analytics Support personalization, customer journey orchestration, and AI-driven digital experience initiatives.  Required Skills & Experience ·        Experience 5+ years of experience in .NET/C#/Sitecore web development.  ·       2–3 years of hands-on production experience with Sitecore XM Cloud. ·        Strong experience implementing enterprise headless CMS solutions.  ·       Technical Expertise Expert proficiency in: TypeScript React.js Next.js GraphQL  ·       Strong knowledge of: Sitecore Headless Services (JSS) Experience Edge SXA REST/GraphQL APIs  ·       Experience with composable DXP architectures and MACH principles is preferred.  ·       Commerce & Integration Experience working with Sitecore OrderCloud implementations.  ·       Knowledge of commerce integrations, API orchestration, and workflow automation. DevOps & Hosting  ·       Proven experience with: Vercel deployments Azure DevOps pipelines CI/CD automation Cloud-native development practices ·        Performance & Quality Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.  ·       Experience implementing secure coding and scalable architecture practices.  ·       Certifications (Preferred) Sitecore XM Cloud Developer Certification Sitecore AI Developer Certification Sitecore OrderCloud Certification (preferred)  Preferred Qualifications  ·       Experience with enterprise-scale digital transformation programs.  ·       Exposure to AI-driven personalization and customer data platforms. ·       Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.  ·       Agile/Scrum delivery experience.  ·       Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
