Key Responsibilities Supporting SQL Server upgradeprojects (MSSQL 2016 to 2022, or 2025), Experience in knowledge inOracle Plan and execute SQL Serverversion upgrades (In-place and Side-by-Side migrations) and ensuring minimaldowntime and business continuity. Conduct pre-upgrade assessment,compatibility checks, and risk analysis. Manage database migration usingbackup/restore or Always On. Perform performance tuning,index optimization, and query troubleshooting. Monitor database health, storageutilization, and capacity planning. Ensure backup, restore testing,and disaster recovery readiness. Prepare upgrade documentation,rollback plan, and change management. Troubleshoot production issuesand provide root cause analysis. Ensure security compliance, useraccess management, and auditing. Required Skills &Experience 3–8 years of experience in SQL Server, Oracle and MariaDB database administrator activity Experience in DB2, MariaDBdatabase administrator is added advantages. Experience in OS-levelcoordination for Windows/Nix Server upgrades.
