Structural Engineer (2 years contract/ Rail)

Responsibilities: ·      Review design package and prepare/ approve shopdrawing of RC structural works and temporary works (strut, waler, etc.) ·      Coordination of structural design works withdesign-relevant counter parties (i.e. civil consultant, accredited checker, andArch/SWC consultant) and construction team, as well as authorities if necessary ·      Design of temporary works (e.g. scaffolding,false work, form work etc.) related to structural design ·      Lead/ Assist project department in solvingdesign related matters ·      Manage and resolve production, quality, design,engineering and scheduling issue ·      Other duties as required Requirements: ·      Min. 5 yrs engineering experience in civil &structural works ·      Experience in infrastructure projects is mandatory (Land Transport Project preferrable) ·      Site experience in underground roadway projectis preferred ·      Design management with consultancy on structuralengineering is highly advantageous ·      Proficient knowledge of structural design,analysis software such as STADD and AutoCAD (or Microstation) ·      Good knowledge of authorities’ requirement To findout more about this opportunity, please contact Lionel Liew at lionel.liew@gmprecruit.com.
