About the Role The Talent People Pte. Ltd. is recruiting a Student Development Support Officer to be deployed at a secondary school in Bukit Batok. Working closely with the Student Development Team (SDT), you will support student management, case administration, supervision, and discipline-related matters within the school environment. This is a front-line role that requires strong interpersonal skills, professional judgement, and the ability to engage positively with students while maintaining appropriate boundaries and expectations. Contract Details Contract Period: 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027 Location: Bukit Batok, Singapore Working Hours • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm • Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm • Inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break daily Candidates should be available to support school activities, events, or programmes outside of regular hours, including selected evenings or Saturdays when required. Key Responsibilities Student Case Management Support • Support the Student Development Team in managing student discipline and behavioural cases • Assist in locating, supervising, and supporting students involved in case management situations, including students who may require additional supervision or support • Assist with statement-taking and information gathering as part of disciplinary and behavioural investigations • Supervise student detention sessions and in-school suspension programmes • Review CCTV footage and support investigations where required • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and case information for the Case Management Team • Support selected cases involving students with additional needs under the guidance of school personnel School Patrol & Student Supervision • Conduct routine patrols around school premises, including common areas, classrooms, activity spaces, and student congregation areas • Monitor student behaviour and safety during school hours • Conduct patrols of designated external areas surrounding the school when required • Provide visible supervision to support a safe, orderly, and conducive school environment School Operations Support • Support student supervision during school programmes, events, competitions, and activities • Assist school operations and administrative teams during Home-Based Learning periods and school holiday programmes where required • Perform other duties assigned by School Leaders or designated school personnel Requirements • Minimum GCE N-Level qualification or equivalent • Prior experience in student management, youth engagement, education support, school operations, security, social service, or related environments is advantageous • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to build positive rapport with adolescents while maintaining professional boundaries • Able to remain calm, objective, and professional in challenging or fast-paced situations • Comfortable carrying out supervision duties across indoor and outdoor environments • Good documentation and record-keeping skills • Must be legally authorised to work in Singapore at the point of application Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience supporting student discipline, behavioural management, or student welfare initiatives • Experience working with students with additional needs or at-risk youths • Familiarity with investigations, case documentation, or incident reporting processes • Strong organisational and administrative skills • Familiarity with school operations and student support frameworks Application Instructions Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV together with a brief cover letter outlining their relevant experience and suitability for the role.
