System Engineer (Hiring Mgr: HoWC) at Changi Naval Base (Shuttle service provided), Up to $4k/ $5k (depends on experience) (Office hours)

- 1 year contract - Up to $4k/ $5k (depends on experience) - Mon - Fri, 8am - 5.30pm - Changi Naval Base (shuttle service provided) We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of USVs. This role requires a strong background in networking, software, and digital services. Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of naval systems to ensure optimal performance • Provide technical support and training to customers and end-users • Stay updated with the latest advancements in unmanned systems and maritime technologies • Willingness to adopt new technologies, including AI, machine learning, and automation tools Period: • 1 year contract  Working Hours: • Mon - Fri, 8am - 5.30pm  Salary:  • Up to  $4k/ $5k (depends on experience)  Location:  • Changi Naval Base (shuttle service provided to and from Changi Naval Base) (Morning pick up point at Simei MRT stn and Evening drop off point at Tanah Merah MRT Stn)    Requirements: • Strong foundation in electronics engineering, IT, or digital and network engineering principles  • Proficiency in networking concepts and digital services • Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on naval systems • Ability to assess situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions • Adaptability, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation •  Diploma/Degree in Electronics Engineering/ IT/ Digital and Network Engineering • Other certifications with Electronics related modules may also apply • Ex-RSN personnel with experience in electronics systems may also apply • Experience in electrical works is an added bonus • Working knowledge and experience on electronics systems such as radars, communications, and weapon systems are advantageous but not required • Candidates without experience are welcome.
