Technical Delivery Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to take ownership of complex technology initiatives, working across multiple stakeholders to drive delivery from planning to production. This role offers genuine end‑to‑end delivery ownership, with accountability from planning through to production within a complex banking technology environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex technology initiatives within core banking and payments • Translate high‑level objectives into clear delivery plans and executable workstreams • Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery constraints • Work closely with business stakeholders, internal engineering teams, and external delivery partners • Act as a key interface between technology teams and vendor partners • Own delivery across Agile and Waterfall workstreams as required by the programme • Oversee end‑to‑end testing, release management, and application deployment to production • Manage stakeholder expectations around scope, timelines, delivery trade‑offs, and outcomes • Provide regular delivery updates to senior and executive stakeholders • Support continuous improvement in delivery practices and execution maturity Experience Required • Strong background in technology delivery, project management, within a banking environment • Proven experience delivering core banking or payments‑related initiatives • Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale, multi‑stream integration projects in a matrix organisation • Solid understanding of payments platforms (corporate or transaction banking experience preferred) • Experience overseeing testing, release, and production deployment activities • Strong vendor management experience, including onshore and offshore delivery models • Comfortable operating across Agile and Waterfall methodologies • Delivery‑driven mindset with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capability What You’ll Gain • High visibility with senior technology and business stakeholders • Long‑term, strategic delivery engagement. • Opportunity to grow beyond project delivery. • Strong collaborative working culture. • Hybrid working model in a professional banking environment We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
