Temp Staff (Laboratory Assistant)

Position : Temp Staff (Laboratory Assistant) Location: Jalan Tan Tock Seng Contract Duration: 1 Year (start date subject to administrative clearance) Working Hours: Monday to Friday (rotating shifts): • 8:00am – 5:30pm • 9:00am – 6:30pm • 9:30am – 7:00pm Salary: • $18.50 per hour (Degree holders with no prior working experience) • Up to $3,800 per month (Degree holders with at least 2years of relevant working experience) Job Responsibilities: The Laboratory Assistant will support the pre-analytical phase of the laboratory total testing cycle and work closely with the team to ensure the smooth operations of the laboratory specimen reception station. Responsibilities include: • Oversee the acceptance and rejection of specimen receipt and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and regulatory requirements • Identify temperature-sensitive and time-sensitive specimens and ensure timely processing in accordance with laboratory reception procedures • Perform data management duties including processing surveillance forms/records and data entry into laboratory information systems and related IT platforms • Coordinate laboratory specimen reception activities, including inventory management, vendor liaison, and distribution of supplies to external stakeholders such as healthcare providers and outbreak teams • Conduct specimen transfers within the TTSH campus incompliance with institutional SOPs • Carry out any other duties as assigned Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Life Sciences or related disciplines • Candidates with relevant laboratory or healthcare-related experience will have an added advantage • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively • Good communication and time management skills • Proficient in basic computer applications and data entry If you meet the requirements, please submit your resume directly to eg@businessedge.com.sg • EA License No: 96C4864 Reg.
