Job Title: Third Party Risk Manager (BAU) - Risk & Governance Contract Duration: 6 Months Contract Role SummaryWe are looking for a Third Party Risk Manager to support BAU operations within the Third Party Risk and Governance function. The role will focus on third-party risk governance, operational resilience, risk assessments, monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of regulatory and policy-driven initiatives across vendor and outsourcing arrangements. Key ResponsibilitiesThird-Party Risk Governance & Oversight • Own and manage the third-party risk management framework across assigned engagements, including outsourcing, technology, data, intra-group, and professional services arrangements. • Ensure risk assessments, due diligence, and approvals are completed during onboarding, renewals, and material change events. • Establish and maintain KRIs/KPIs and monitoring routines aligned to risk tiering, including periodic attestations, control testing, and resilience exercises. • Manage third-party risk issues, incidents, and breaches including triage, root cause analysis, impact assessment, escalation, and lessons learned activities. • Prepare and present clear risk reporting for governance forums such as risk committees, outsourcing governance meetings, and operational resilience forums. Change Management & Projects • Support and operationalise policy and standards changes within Third Party Risk processes, controls, reporting, and governance frameworks. • Support implementation of global and local mandates, initiatives, and regulatory requirements through effective project coordination and stakeholder management. • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and control effectiveness improvements, driving practical solutions and measurable outcomes such as reduced ageing metrics, improved data quality, and stronger compliance adherence. Third Party Engagement • Independently manage interactions with Engagement Managers and offshore teams to oversee lifecycle management activities for arrangements undergoing third-party risk assessments. Requirements• 5–8 years of experience within Third Party Risk, Operational Resilience Risk, Vendor Risk, or related governance environments. • Strong understanding of third-party governance, outsourcing risk, operational resilience, and risk management frameworks. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. • Experience using data visualisation tools such as QlikSense and Tableau. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills• Knowledge of platforms such as Coupa, Appian, and ServiceNow would be advantageous. • Experience working within banking, financial services, or regulated environments is preferred.
